Life's journey is full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows. When the journey can seem overwhelming, confusing or just curious, it helps to slow down, and take time to explore, process, reflect and consider ways to make changes and bring meaning to it all.
As an interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and change long-standing behavioral patterns on their own.
With great sensitivity and understanding, I assist my clients to mindfully recognize that we are the storytellers of our lives, and that life is often less about a series of problems but a series of opportunities to become more conscious of who we are and who we want to be. This has applications to addressing a broad range of life's challenges including family/parenting issues, relationships, career, and health. I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
I have been working in the counseling field for over 25 years and have a broad range of experience and training in dealing with some of life's deepest challenges.
